Course on Financial Sector Policies (FSP)

Participants will then examine the design and impact of financial sector policies to mitigate assessed vulnerabilities starting with the rationale for micro-prudential and macroprudential policies. The interactions between macroeconomic and macro-prudential policies are also discussed. Although the emphasis is on preventive strategies, the course will also discuss policies to deal with financial distress situations and contingency planning.
