Xiangming Li

Ms. Xiangming Li, a Chinese national, has held operational and policy positions across the IMF, including in African Department and previously in the European, Strategy Policy and Review, Fiscal Affairs, Monetary and Capital Markets departments, and in the Institute for Capacity Development. Her work on surveillance, lending, training, and technical assistance spans across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean. She also worked with development partners across the world on supporting IMF capacity development. She earned a Ph.D. in economics and economic development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in urban planning and a B.S. from Peking University.
